Professional Experience

Mr. Clements received a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering from Kansas State University in 2009. He worked for Purdy McGuire in engineers as a mechanical, electrical and plumbing designer as well as project manager. During his professional career, he developed an expertise in energy modeling and Autodesk’s Revit Program. He is a licensed architectural engineer in Kansas and Texas. Clements is also a LEED accredited professional. He returned to Kansas State University in the fall of 2016 as an instructor in the department of architectural engineering and construction science.

Academic Highlights

Clements developed ARE 312-Introduction to Building Information Modeling his first semester as an instructor. He is currently on five committees to plan new courses taught under the new ARE-CNS curriculum. In addition to academic advising, Clements also acts as a co-advisor for the Illuminating Engineering Society student group and the Architectural Engineering Institute student group.
